The red really pops and its quite dark. Its really mindboggling that an old guitar like this can have those vibrant colors.

We have sold a couple of early 60s strats in the past but none have been this nice or as vibrant.

Condition:

Its has a couple of nicks, scratches and dings but nothing major. Just normal wear.

The neck pocket is an extremely nice fit, no gaps what so ever.

Original frets that show some signs of wear but nothing major.

Fretboard has some very minor signs of divots.

Back of neck looks almost new, has one or two very minor dings in the clearcoat but nothing you can really feel when playing unless you look for them.

Original maschine heads but the high "e" mashine heads ear for the screw is broken off (see pics)

Saddle was replaced in the 80s, not the best job I've seen but it does the job.

Electronics:

All original but is has been soldered. Done before 1965 when it was bought. It had the "telecaster" mod. With neck and bridge pick up in position "4" and the middle pickup did not work when we got it.

So Johan Lundgren of Lundgren pickups saved it by removing just a couple of laps to get to the short circuit (see invoice and description in pics). Middle pickup also has red brushing for the screws, probably replaced in the 60s since they are bone dry and hard as a rock. Everything is soldered in place as intended with the regular strat positions of the 3-way switch.

Other solders are untouched and original.

Hard case:

Its a Swedish sold strat so it comes with the original Swedish "Järna" hardcase that was provided by Hagström guitars as all Fender guitars that where sold in Sweden had at that time period.

Its in excellent condition, have never seen a Järna hardcase in this fantastic condition for any instrument.

State:

Weight 3.51 kgs

Bridge pickup 5.41 kOhm

Middle pickup 6.77 kOhm

Neck pickup 5.98 kOhm

Comes with original Järna hardcase, original wooden arm and strap.
