Big-Studio Tone for the Whole Band
Capturing multi-mic tracking sessions at home can often result in flat, uninspired takes. Volt 4P Max solves this right at the input stage by putting 18 distinct analog combinations across all four microphone channels. By combining four harmonic preamp modes (Warmth, Focus, and Shine) with six Max compression presets tailored for vocals, acoustic guitars, bass, and drums, you can effortlessly print punchy, radio-ready tracks without CPU latency or complex DAW plug-in routing.
Advanced Studio Control & Multi-User Monitoring
Manage live recording sessions with professional control room tools built directly into the top panel. Volt 4P Max features A/B speaker switching to quickly compare your mix on different monitor sets, while two independent high-power headphone outputs ensure both the engineer and performer get crystal-clear cue mixes. The integrated Talkback microphone allows seamless communication between the control room and talent.
Uncompromised Scalability and Routing
Volt 4P Max is built so your hardware never limits your creative ambition. Beyond its four combination XLR/TRS inputs and dedicated Hi-Z instrument jacks, the optical ADAT input allows you to connect an eight-channel mic preamp to record full drum kits or large ensembles. Integrated 5-pin MIDI connectors and a built-in USB hub make connecting external synthesizers, controllers, and peripherals fast and simple.
Complete Production Ecosystem
Every Volt 4P Max comes bundled with a curated suite of world-class UAD plug-ins, giving you instant access to classic EQs, legendary compressors, guitar amplifiers, and virtual instruments used on hit records worldwide. Additionally, you receive LUNA — Universal Audio's award-winning DAW that delivers authentic "big studio" analog sound and workflow right inside your computer.
